Make obligatory the recitation of Fajr Prayer, for the Qur’an in Fajr (Dawn) Prayer is attended - Surah Al-Isra

نمازِ فجر کا قرآن پڑھنا بھی لازم کر لیں، بیشک نمازِ فجر کے قرآن میں حاضری ہوتی ہے  - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 78: Establish the Prayers (Zuhr [Midday], ‘Asr [Afternoon], Maghrib [Sunset] and ‘Isha’ [Night]) from the declining of the sun till the deep darkness of the night. And also (make obligatory) the recitation of Fajr Prayer, for the Qur’an in Fajr (Dawn) Prayer is attended (by the angels and a state of divine consciousness also permeates).

. آپ سورج ڈھلنے سے لے کر رات کی تاریکی تک (ظہر، عصر، مغرب اور عشاء کی) نماز قائم فرمایا کریں اور نمازِ فجر کا قرآن پڑھنا بھی (لازم کر لیں)، بیشک نمازِ فجر کے قرآن میں (فرشتوں کی) حاضری ہوتی ہے 

The Day when We shall call every section of people along with their Imam(Paishwa) - Surah Al-Isra

 وہ دن جب ہم لوگوں کے ہر طبقہ کو ان کے پیشوا کے ساتھ بلائیں گے - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 71: The Day when We shall call every section of people along with their leaders. So whoever will be given the record of his deeds in his right hand, so they will read their records (rejoicing) and they will not be wronged a bit.

. وہ دن جب ہم لوگوں کے ہر طبقہ کو ان کے پیشوا کے ساتھ بلائیں گے، سو جسے اس کا نوشتۂ اَعمال اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا پس یہ لوگ اپنا نامۂ اعمال (مسرت و شادمانی سے) پڑھیں گے اور ان پر دھاگے برابر بھی ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا

Translation

Verse 72: And whoever remains blind (to the truth) in this (world) will be blind in the Hereafter as well, distracted from the path (of deliverance).

اور جو شخص اس (دنیا) میں (حق سے) اندھا رہا سو وہ آخرت میں بھی اندھا اور راہِ (نجات) سے بھٹکا رہے گا

Do not walk arrogantly on the earth, Certainly, you cannot cleave the earth - Surah Al-Isra

زمین میں اکڑ کر مت چل، بیشک تو زمین کو ہرگز چیر نہیں سکتا - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 37: And do not walk arrogantly on the earth. Certainly, you cannot cleave the earth (with the force of your arrogance), nor can you reach the mountains in height.

 اور زمین میں اکڑ کر مت چل، بیشک تو زمین کو (اپنی رعونت کے زور سے) ہرگز چیر نہیں سکتا اور نہ ہی ہرگز تو بلندی میں پہاڑوں کو پہنچ سکتا ہے 

Surely, the spendthrifts are the brothers of Satan - Surah Al-Isra

بیشک فضول خرچی کرنے والے شیطان کے بھائی ہیں - سوره اسرا 

Translation

Verse 26: And give to the kindred their rightful due, and also (give) to the needy and the wayfarer, and do not exhaust (your wealth) by expending wastefully.

اور قرابت داروں کو ان کا حق ادا کرو اور محتاجوں اور مسافروں کو بھی (دو) اور (اپنا مال) فضول خرچی سے مت اڑاؤ

Translation

Verse 27: Surely, the spendthrifts are the brothers of Satan, and Satan is most ungrateful to his Lord.

 بیشک فضول خرچی کرنے والے شیطان کے بھائی ہیں، اور شیطان اپنے رب کا بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے

Treat parents with benevolence and do not say even ‘Ugh!’ to them nor reproach them - Surah Al-Isra

والدین کے ساتھ حسنِ سلوک کیا کرو، انہیں ”اُف“ بھی نہ کہنا اور جھڑکنا بھی نہیں - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 23: And your Lord has commanded you not to worship anyone other than Allah, and treat parents with benevolence. If either or both of them attain old age in your presence, then do not say even ‘Ugh!’ to them, nor reproach them. And always speak to both of them submissively, observing polite manners.

 اور آپ کے رب نے حکم فرما دیا ہے کہ تم اﷲ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت مت کرو اور والدین کے ساتھ حسنِ سلوک کیا کرو، اگر تمہارے سامنے دونوں میں سے کوئی ایک یا دونوں بڑھاپے کو پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں ”اُف“ بھی نہ کہنا اور انہیں جھڑکنا بھی نہیں اور ان دونوں کے ساتھ بڑے ادب سے بات کیا کرو

Surely, Ibrahim (Abraham) was an Umma [Community] in himself - Surah An-NAhl

 بیشک ابراہیم علیہ السلام تنہا ذات میں ایک اُمت تھے - سوره النحل 

Translation

Verse 120: Surely, Ibrahim (Abraham) was an Umma ([Community] in himself), exclusively obedient to Allah, turning away from all falsehood (ever inclined and given to Him alone) and was not of those who associate partners with Allah,

. بیشک ابراہیم (علیہ السلام تنہا ذات میں) ایک اُمت تھے، اللہ کے بڑے فرمانبردار تھے، ہر باطل سے کنارہ کش (صرف اسی کی طرف یک سُو) تھے، اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ تھے

Had HE not been repelling one class by other churches and mosques would have been ruined where Allah’s Name is abundantly commemorated - Surah Al-Hajj

اگر اﷲ انسانی طبقات میں سے بعض کو بعض کے ذریعہ ہٹاتا نہ رہتا توکلیسے اور مسجدیں مسمار کر دی جاتیں  جن میں کثرت سے اﷲ کے نام کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے - سوره الحج 

Translation

Verse 40: They are those who were unjustly expelled from their homes simply because they said: ‘Our Lord is Allah (i.e., they refused to accept the evil rule).’ And had Allah not been repelling one class of human society by the other (through progressive struggle and persistent toil), the cloisters, synagogues, churches and mosques (i.e., religious centres and places of worship of all religions) would have been ruined where Allah’s Name is abundantly commemorated. And whoever helps (the Din [Religion] of) Allah, Allah surely helps him. Allah is indeed All-Powerfull, Ever-Dominant (over all i.e., the survival of good is possible only through the process of contradiction and conflict between good and evil).

 وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے گھروں سے ناحق نکالے گئے صرف اس بنا پر کہ وہ کہتے تھے کہ ہمارا رب اﷲ ہے (یعنی انہوں نے باطل کی فرمانروائی تسلیم کرنے سے انکار کیا تھا)، اور اگر اﷲ انسانی طبقات میں سے بعض کو بعض کے ذریعہ (جہاد و انقلابی جد و جہد کی صورت میں) ہٹاتا نہ رہتا تو خانقاہیں اور گرجے اور کلیسے اور مسجدیں (یعنی تمام ادیان کے مذہبی مراکز اور عبادت گاہیں) مسمار اور ویران کر دی جاتیں جن میں کثرت سے اﷲ کے نام کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے، اور جو شخص اﷲ (کے دین) کی مدد کرتا ہے یقیناً اﷲ اس کی مدد فرماتا ہے۔ بیشک اﷲ ضرور (بڑی) قوت والا (سب پر) غالب ہے (گویا حق اور باطل کے تضاد و تصادم کے انقلابی عمل سے ہی حق کی بقا ممکن ہے

And the middle course reaches Allah - Surah An-Nahl

 اور درمیانی راہ اللہ پر جا پہنچتی ہے - سوره النحل 

Translation
Verse 9: And the middle course reaches Allah, and many crooked side tracks also from it. And had He so willed, He would have guided all of you.

 اور درمیانی راہ اللہ پر جا پہنچتی ہے اور اس میں سے کئی ٹیڑھی راہیں بھی ہیں، اور اگر وہ چاہتا تو تم سب ہی کو ہدایت فرما دیتا

know that it is the remembrance of Allah alone that brings calm to the hearts - Surah Al-Ra'd

جان لو کہ ﷲ ہی کے ذکر سے دلوں کو اطمینان نصیب ہوتا ہے - سوره الرعد 

Translation

Verse 28: Those who believe and their hearts become calm and contented with the remembrance of Allah—know that it is the remembrance of Allah alone that brings calm to the hearts.

 جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور ان کے دل ﷲ کے ذکر سے مطمئن ہوتے ہیں، جان لو کہ ﷲ ہی کے ذکر سے دلوں کو اطمینان نصیب ہوتا ہے

If HE intends any good for you, then there is none who can repel His bounty - Surah Yunus

 اگر وہ تمہارے ساتھ بھلائی کا ارادہ فرمائے تو کوئی اس کے فضل کو ردّ کرنے والا نہیں - سوره یونس 

Translation

Verse 107: And if Allah afflicts you with some distress, then there is none who can remove it but He. And if He intends any good for you, then there is none who can repel His bounty. He bestows His bounty upon whomsoever of His servants He pleases. And He is Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.

اور اگر اللہ تمہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچائے تو اس کے سوا کوئی اسے دور کرنے والا نہیں اور اگر وہ تمہارے ساتھ بھلائی کا ارادہ فرمائے تو کوئی اس کے فضل کو ردّ کرنے والا نہیں۔ وہ اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہتا ہے اپنا فضل پہنچاتا ہے، اور وہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے

No soul has the capability to believe (on its own) without Allah’s leave - Surah Yunus

 کسی شخص کو اَز خود یہ قدرت نہیں کہ وہ بغیر اِذنِ الٰہی کے ایمان لے آئے - سوره یونس 

Translation

Verse 100: And no soul has the capability to believe (on its own) without Allah’s leave. He (Allah) places the impurity of disbelief on those who do not put their reason to work (to grasp the truth).

اور کسی شخص کو (اَز خود یہ) قدرت نہیں کہ وہ بغیر اِذنِ الٰہی کے ایمان لے آئے۔ وہ (یعنی اللہ تعالی) کفر کی گندگی انہی لوگوں پر ڈالتا ہے جو (حق کو سمجھنے کے لئے) عقل سے کام نہیں لیتے

Had Allah so willed, certainly all inhabitants on the earth would have believed - Surah Yunus

اگر آپ کا رب چاہتا تو ضرور سب لوگ جو زمین میں آباد ہیں ایمان لے آتے - سوره یونس 

Translation

Verse 99: And had Allah so willed, certainly all inhabitants on the earth would have believed. will you coerce the people until they become believers?

اور اگر آپ کا رب چاہتا تو ضرور سب کے سب لوگ جو زمین میں آباد ہیں ایمان لے آتے، تو کیا آپ لوگوں پر جبر کریں گے یہاں تک کہ وہ مومن ہوجائیں

There has come to you an admonition, and a cure for all hidden diseases in breasts. So Muslims should rejoice over it - Surah Yunus

 اے لوگو! بیشک تمہارے پاس نصیحت اور ان بیماریوں کی شفاء آگئی ہے جو سینوں میں پوشیدہ ہیں پس مسلمانوں کو چاہئے کہ اس پر خوشیاں منائیں - سوره یونس 

Translation

Verse 57: O mankind! Surely, there has come to you an admonition from your Lord, and a cure for all those (diseases) which are (hidden) in the breasts. And it is guidance and mercy (too) for those who are blessed with faith.

 اے لوگو! بیشک تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نصیحت اور ان (بیماریوں) کی شفاء آگئی ہے جو سینوں میں (پوشیدہ) ہیں اور ہدایت اور اہلِ ایمان کے لئے رحمت بھی

Translation

Verse 58: Say: ‘(All this) is due to the bounty and mercy of Allah (bestowed upon you through raising Muhammad [blessings and peace be upon him] as the exalted Messenger). So the Muslims should rejoice over it. This is far better than (all that affluence and wealth) that they amass.’

 فرما دیجئے: (یہ سب کچھ) اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت کے باعث ہے (جو بعثتِ محمدی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ذریعے تم پر ہوا ہے) پس مسلمانوں کو چاہئے کہ اس پر خوشیاں منائیں، یہ اس (سارے مال و دولت) سے کہیں بہتر ہے جسے وہ جمع کرتے ہیں

Who worship, praise and glorify and fast, abstaining from the worldly lusts are those who have sold thier soul and wealth to ALLAH - Surah At-Tawbah

 عبادت گذار، حمد و ثنا کرنے والے، دنیوی لذتوں سے کنارہ کش روزہ دار جنہوں نے اپنا جان اور مال الله   کو بیچ دیا ہے - سوره التوبہ 

Translation

Verse # 112: (Believers who have bargained with Allah for the Hereafter are those) who turn to Allah in repentance, and who worship, praise and glorify (Allah), and fast, abstaining from the worldly lusts, and bow down before Him (most humbly and submissively), and who prostrate themselves before Him (seeking His nearness), command good and forbid evil, and guard the limits (set) by Allah. And give glad tidings to these believers.

ترجمہ  - (مومنین جنہوں نے اللہ سے اُخروی سودا کر لیا ہے) توبہ کرنے والے،عبادت گذار، (اللہ کی) حمد و ثنا کرنے والے، دنیوی لذتوں سے کنارہ کش روزہ دار، (خشوع و خضوع سے) رکوع کرنے والے، (قربِ الٰہی کی خاطر) سجود کرنے والے، نیکی کاحکم کرنے والے اور برائی سے روکنے والے اور اللہ کی (مقرر کردہ) حدود کی حفاظت کرنے والے ہیں، اور ان اہلِ ایمان کو خوشخبری سنا دیجئے

O believers! remain in the company of those who uphold the truth - Surah At-Tawbah

 اے ایمان والو!  اہلِ صدق کی معیت میں شامل رہو

Translation

Verse #119: O believers! Fear Allah persistently, and remain in the (company) of those who uphold the truth.

 اے ایمان والو! اﷲ سے ڈرتے رہو اور اہلِ صدق (کی معیت) میں شامل رہو

Who deserves alms (Zakat) - Surah At-Tawbah

  زکوٰۃ کے مستحق کون لوگ ہیں - سوره التوبہ 

Translation

Verse # 60: Indeed, alms (Zakat) are meant for the poor and the indigent, and those who are deployed to collect charities and those in whose hearts the inculcation of love for Islam is aimed at. And, (moreover, spending Zakat for the) freeing of human lives (from the yoke of slavery) and removing the burden of those who are to pay debt and (those who toil hard) in the cause of Allah and the wayfarers (is true). This (all) has been prescribed by Allah, and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Wise.

 بیشک صدقات (زکوٰۃ) محض غریبوں اور محتاجوں اور ان کی وصولی پر مقرر کئے گئے کارکنوں اور ایسے لوگوں کے لئے ہیں جن کے دلوں میں اسلام کی الفت پیدا کرنا مقصود ہو اور (مزید یہ کہ) انسانی گردنوں کو (غلامی کی زندگی سے) آزاد کرانے میں اور قرض داروں کے بوجھ اتارنے میں اور اللہ کی راہ میں اور مسافروں پر (زکوٰۃ کا خرچ کیا جانا حق ہے)۔ یہ (سب) اللہ کی طرف سے فرض کیا گیا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے

Light or heavy, march forth and fight in the cause of Allah - Surah At-Tawbah

  تم ہلکے اور گراں بار  نکل کھڑے ہو اور اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرو - سوره التوبه 

Translation

Verse # 41: Light or heavy, march forth (under all circumstances) and fight in the cause of Allah with your material and human resources. It is better for you if you are (reality) conscious.

  تم ہلکے اور گراں بار (ہر حال میں) نکل کھڑے ہو اور اپنے مال و جان سے اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرو، یہ تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے اگر تم (حقیقت) آشنا ہو

And the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah alone, so call on Him by these Names - Surah Al-Aaraaf

 اور اللہ ہی کے لئے اچھے اچھے نام ہیں، سو اسے ان ناموں سے پکارا کرو - سوره الاعراف 

Translation
Verse # 180: And the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah alone, so call on Him by these Names. And leave aside those people who turn away from the truth with regard to His Names. Soon will they be punished for the (impious acts) that they perpetrate.

 اور اللہ ہی کے لئے اچھے اچھے نام ہیں، سو اسے ان ناموں سے پکارا کرو اور ایسے لوگوں کو چھوڑ دو جو اس کے ناموں میں حق سے انحراف کرتے ہیں، عنقریب انہیں ان (اعمالِ بد) کی سزا دی جائے گی جن کا وہ ارتکاب کرتے ہیں

Remember your Lord in your heart with humility and tearful submissiveness and fear and repentance and also by calling in low tones - Surah Al-Araaf

 اپنے رب کا اپنے دل میں ذکر کیا کرو عاجزی و زاری اور خوف و خستگی سے اور میانہ آواز سے پکار کر بھی، صبح و شام - سوره الاعراف 

Translation

Verse # 205: And remember your Lord in your heart with humility and tearful submissiveness and fear and repentance and also by calling in low tones. (Persevere with His remembrance) morning and evening and be not of the neglectful.

 اور اپنے رب کا اپنے دل میں ذکر کیا کرو عاجزی و زاری اور خوف و خستگی سے اور میانہ آواز سے پکار کر بھی، صبح و شام (یادِ حق جاری رکھو) اور غافلوں میں سے نہ ہوجاؤ

Invoke your Lord most submissively and queitly - Surah Al-Araaf

 تم اپنے رب سے گڑگڑا کر اور آہستہ دعا کیا کرو - سوره الاعراف 

Translation

Verse # 55: Invoke your Lord (both) most submissively and queitly. Surely, He does not like the transgressors.

تم اپنے رب سے گڑگڑا کر اور آہستہ دعا کیا کرو، بیشک وہ حد سے بڑھنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا
