Man has turned out to be highly narrow-minded and miserly - Surah Al-Isra

انسان بہت ہی تنگ دل اور بخیل واقع ہوا ہے - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 100: Say: ‘If you were the owners of the treasures of my Lord’s mercy, you would even then hold (your hands) back (from spending) for fear of (total) exhaustion. And man has turned out to be highly narrow-minded and miserly.

 فرما دیجئے: اگر تم میرے رب کی رحمت کے خزانوں کے مالک ہوتے تو تب بھی (سب) خرچ ہوجانے کے خوف سے تم (اپنے ہاتھ) روکے رکھتے، اور انسان بہت ہی تنگ دل اور بخیل واقع ہوا ہے

We have indeed honoured the children of Adam exalted them above most of Our creation - Surah Al-Isra

ہم نے بنی آدم کو عزت بخشی اورہم نے انہیں اکثرمخلوقات پرفضیلت دی - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 70: And We have indeed honoured the children of Adam and provided them with (means of transport) over the land and in the sea (i.e., in the cities, deserts, rivers and oceans) and bestowed upon them sustenance out of clean and pure things. And We have exalted them above most of Our creation by conferring on them superiority.

 اور بیشک ہم نے بنی آدم کو عزت بخشی اور ہم نے ان کو خشکی اور تری (یعنی شہروں اور صحراؤں اور سمندروں اور دریاؤں) میں (مختلف سواریوں پر) سوار کیا اور ہم نے انہیں پاکیزہ چیزوں سے رزق عطا کیا اور ہم نے انہیں اکثر مخلوقات پر جنہیں ہم نے پیدا کیا ہے فضیلت دے کر برتر بنا دیا

There isn't a single object but glorifies Him Yet you cannot appreciate their glorification - Surah Al-Isra

 کوئی بھی چیز ایسی نہیں جو اس کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح نہ کرتی ہو لیکن تم ان کی تسبیح کو سمجھ نہیں سکتے - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 44: The seven heavens and the earth and all that exists in them persistently extol the Glory of Allah, and there is not a single object (in the entire universe) but glorifies Him with His Praise. Yet you cannot appreciate their (state of) glorification. He is surely Most Forbearing, Most Forgiving. 

ساتوں آسمان اور زمین اور وہ سارے موجودات جو ان میں ہیں اﷲ کی تسبیح کرتے رہتے ہیں، اور (جملہ کائنات میں) کوئی بھی چیز ایسی نہیں جو اس کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح نہ کرتی ہو لیکن تم ان کی تسبیح (کی کیفیت) کو سمجھ نہیں سکتے، بیشک وہ بڑا بُردبار بڑا بخشنے والا ہے

We exalted some Messengers above the others - Surah Al-Isra

 ہم نے بعض انبیاء کو بعض پر فضیلت بخشی - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 55: And your Lord knows them best who (dwell) in the heavens and the earth. And surely, We exalted some Messengers above the others and bestowed the Zabur (Psalms) upon Dawud (David).

 اور آپ کا رب ان کو خوب جانتا ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں (آباد) ہیں، اور بیشک ہم نے بعض انبیاء کو بعض پر فضیلت بخشی اور ہم نے داؤد (علیہ السلام) کو زبور عطا کی

Do not follow that of which you have no authentic knowledge - Surah Al-Israh

 تو اس بات کی پیروی نہ کر جس کا تجھے صحیح علم نہیں - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 36: And, (O man,) do not follow that of which you have no (authentic) knowledge. Indeed the ear, the eye and the heart—each of them will be questioned.

 اور (اے انسان!) تو اس بات کی پیروی نہ کر جس کا تجھے (صحیح) علم نہیں، بیشک کان اور آنکھ اور دل ان میں سے ہر ایک سے باز پرس ہوگی

We have slung every man’s record of deeds around his neck - Surah Al-Isra

 ہم نے ہر انسان کے اعمال کا نوشتہ اس کی گردن میں لٹکا دیا ہے - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 13: And We have slung every man’s record of deeds around his neck, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall bring forth (this) record, which he will find spread out (before him).

 اور ہم نے ہر انسان کے اعمال کا نوشتہ اس کی گردن میں لٹکا دیا ہے، اور ہم اس کے لئے قیامت کے دن (یہ) نامۂ اعمال نکالیں گے جسے وہ (اپنے سامنے) کھلا ہوا پائے گا

It is neither the meat of slaughtered animals nor their blood, but it is the Godwariness that reaches Him from you - Surah Al-Hajj

ہرگز نہ اﷲ کو ان قربانیوں کا گوشت پہنچتا ہے اورنہ خون مگراسے تمہاری طرف سے تقوٰی پہنچتا ہے - سوره الحج 

Translation

Verse 37: It is neither the meat (of slaughtered animals) nor their blood that reaches Allah at all, but it is the Godwariness that reaches Him from you. Thus has Allah subjected them to you so that you may proclaim Allah’s greatness (whilst sacrificing) the way He has guided you. And give glad tidings to those who practise spiritual excellence.

 ہرگز نہ (تو) اﷲ کو ان (قربانیوں) کا گوشت پہنچتا ہے اور نہ ان کا خون مگر اسے تمہاری طرف سے تقوٰی پہنچتا ہے، اس طرح (اﷲ نے) انہیں تمہارے تابع کر دیا ہے تاکہ تم (وقتِ ذبح) اﷲ کی تکبیر کہو جیسے اس نے تمہیں ہدایت فرمائی ہے، اور آپ نیکی کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری سنا دیں

Man has happened to be very impulsive indeed - Surah Al-Israh

انسان بڑا ہی جلد باز واقع ہوا ہے - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 11: And (intolerant and anguished) man prays (sometimes) for evil as he prays for good (for himself). And man has happened to be very impulsive indeed.

 اور انسان (کبھی تنگ دل اور پریشان ہو کر) برائی کی دعا مانگنے لگتا ہے جس طرح (اپنے لئے) بھلائی کی دعا مانگتا ہے، اور انسان بڑا ہی جلد باز واقع ہوا ہے

Allah has preferred some of you to others in grades of provision - Surah Al-Nahl

اللہ نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر رزق کے درجات میں فضیلت دی ہے - سوره النحل 

Translation

Verse 71: And Allah has preferred some of you to others in (grades of) provision (so that He puts you to trial through the command of spending in His way). But those who have been preferred do not divert (even a portion of) their wealth to (i.e., do not spend on) their dependants, whilst they all are equal in it (as for as their basic necessities are concerned). So do they deny Allah’s favour?

 اور اللہ نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر رزق (کے درجات) میں فضیلت دی ہے (تاکہ وہ تمہیں حکمِ انفاق کے ذریعے آزمائے)، مگر جن لوگوں کو فضیلت دی گئی ہے وہ اپنی دولت (کے کچھ حصہ کو بھی) اپنے زیردست لوگوں پر نہیں لوٹاتے (یعنی خرچ نہیں کرتے) حالانکہ وہ سب اس میں (بنیادی ضروریات کی حد تک) برابر ہیں، تو کیا وہ اللہ کی نعمتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں

Their shadows keep crawling on the right and the left sides, prostrating themselves before Allah - Surah An-Nahl

ان کے سائے دائیں اور بائیں اَطراف سے اللہ کے لئے سجدہ کرتے ہوئے پھرتے رہتے ہیں - سوره النحل 

Translation

Verse 48: Have they not seen those (shady) objects that Allah has created; their shadows keep crawling on the right and the left sides, prostrating themselves before Allah? And, (in fact, in this way) they display humbleness and obedience.

. کیا انہوں نے ان (سایہ دار) چیزوں کی طرف نہیں دیکھا جو اللہ نے پیدا فرمائی ہیں (کہ) ان کے سائے دائیں اور بائیں اَطراف سے اللہ کے لئے سجدہ کرتے ہوئے پھرتے رہتے ہیں اور وہ (درحقیقت) طاعت و عاجزی کا اظہار کرتے ہیں

We say to it: ‘Be,’ and it becomes - Surah Al-Nahl

 ہم اُسے فرماتے ہیں: ”ہو جا“ پس وہ ہو جاتی ہے - سوره النحل 

Translation

Verse 40: Our command for a thing is but only this much that when We intend (to bring) it (into existence), We say to it: ‘Be,’ and it becomes.

. ہمارا فرمان تو کسی چیز کے لئے صرف اِسی قدر ہوتا ہے کہ جب ہم اُس (کو وجود میں لانے) کا ارادہ کرتے ہیں تو ہم اُسے فرماتے ہیں: ”ہو جا“ پس وہ ہو جاتی ہے

Had HE not been repelling one class by other churches and mosques would have been ruined where Allah’s Name is abundantly commemorated - Surah Al-Hajj

اگر اﷲ انسانی طبقات میں سے بعض کو بعض کے ذریعہ ہٹاتا نہ رہتا توکلیسے اور مسجدیں مسمار کر دی جاتیں  جن میں کثرت سے اﷲ کے نام کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے - سوره الحج 

Translation

Verse 40: They are those who were unjustly expelled from their homes simply because they said: ‘Our Lord is Allah (i.e., they refused to accept the evil rule).’ And had Allah not been repelling one class of human society by the other (through progressive struggle and persistent toil), the cloisters, synagogues, churches and mosques (i.e., religious centres and places of worship of all religions) would have been ruined where Allah’s Name is abundantly commemorated. And whoever helps (the Din [Religion] of) Allah, Allah surely helps him. Allah is indeed All-Powerfull, Ever-Dominant (over all i.e., the survival of good is possible only through the process of contradiction and conflict between good and evil).

 وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے گھروں سے ناحق نکالے گئے صرف اس بنا پر کہ وہ کہتے تھے کہ ہمارا رب اﷲ ہے (یعنی انہوں نے باطل کی فرمانروائی تسلیم کرنے سے انکار کیا تھا)، اور اگر اﷲ انسانی طبقات میں سے بعض کو بعض کے ذریعہ (جہاد و انقلابی جد و جہد کی صورت میں) ہٹاتا نہ رہتا تو خانقاہیں اور گرجے اور کلیسے اور مسجدیں (یعنی تمام ادیان کے مذہبی مراکز اور عبادت گاہیں) مسمار اور ویران کر دی جاتیں جن میں کثرت سے اﷲ کے نام کا ذکر کیا جاتا ہے، اور جو شخص اﷲ (کے دین) کی مدد کرتا ہے یقیناً اﷲ اس کی مدد فرماتا ہے۔ بیشک اﷲ ضرور (بڑی) قوت والا (سب پر) غالب ہے (گویا حق اور باطل کے تضاد و تصادم کے انقلابی عمل سے ہی حق کی بقا ممکن ہے

And the middle course reaches Allah - Surah An-Nahl

 اور درمیانی راہ اللہ پر جا پہنچتی ہے - سوره النحل 

Translation
Verse 9: And the middle course reaches Allah, and many crooked side tracks also from it. And had He so willed, He would have guided all of you.

 اور درمیانی راہ اللہ پر جا پہنچتی ہے اور اس میں سے کئی ٹیڑھی راہیں بھی ہیں، اور اگر وہ چاہتا تو تم سب ہی کو ہدایت فرما دیتا

He alone has created man from a drop of vital fluid - Surah An-Nahl

اُسی نے انسان کو ایک تولیدی قطرہ سے پیدا فرمایا - سوره النحل 

Translation

Verse 4: He alone has created man from a drop of vital fluid, yet he has become openly contentious 

اُسی نے انسان کو ایک تولیدی قطرہ سے پیدا فرمایا، پھر بھی وہ کھلا جھگڑالو بن گیا

We have not created heavens and earth and whatever is between them without any purpose - Surah Al-Hijr

ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے عبث پیدا نہیں کیا - سوره الحجر 

Translation

Verse 85: And We have not created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them without any purpose. And the Hour of Resurrection is certainly approaching. So, (O embodiment of excellent morality,) bear with (them) most graciously and effectively with perseverance.

. اور ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے عبث پیدا نہیں کیا، اور یقیناً قیامت کی گھڑی آنے والی ہے، سو (اے اخلاقِ مجسّم!) آپ بڑے حسن و خوبی کے ساتھ درگزر کرتے رہئے

Iblees's (Devil's) statement when he was cursed and expelled by ALLAH SWT - Surah Al-Hijr

الله کی طرف سے لعنت اور دھتکارے جانے پر شیطان/ابلیس کا بیان - سوره الحجر 

Translation

Verse 39: Iblis said: ‘O Lord, because You have led me astray, I will (also) best adorn and embellish for them (the sins, revolts and violations) in the earth and will certainly lead all of them astray by all means,

 ابلیس نے کہا: اے پروردگار! اس سبب سے جو تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا میں (بھی) یقیناً ان کے لئے زمین میں (گناہوں اور نافرمانیوں کو) خوب آراستہ و خوش نما بنا دوں گا اور ان سب کو ضرور گمراہ کر کے رہوں گا

And when your lord said to angels Prostrate to adam When i breathe my soul in Him - Surah Al Hijr

اور جب آپکے رب نے فرشتوں سے کہا آدم کو سجدہ کرنا جب میں اس میں اپنی روح پھونک دوں  - سوره حجر 

Translation

Verse 27: And when your Lord said to the angels: ‘I am about to create a human organism from old (and) black stinking, resounding mud.

اور جب آپ کے رب نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا کہ میں سِن رسیدہ (اور) سیاہ بودار، بجنے والے گارے سے ایک بشری پیکر پیدا کرنے والا ہوں

Translation

Verse 28: So when I accomplish the perfection of his (physical) constitution into his real being, and breathe My (divine) spirit into (the inner self of) this (human physical) organism, then fall down prostrate before him.’

پھر جب میں اس کی (ظاہری) تشکیل کو کامل طور پر درست حالت میں لا چکوں اور اس پیکرِ (بشری کے باطن) میں اپنی (نورانی) روح پھونک دوں تو تم اس کے لئے سجدہ میں گر پڑنا

Allah's Promise to Protect What he has Revealed - Surah Al- Hijr

جو الله نے نازل کیا ہے اسکی حفاظت کا الله کا وعدہ - سوره الحجر 

Translation

Verse 9: Assuredly, We alone have revealed this Glorious Admonition (the Qur’an), and surely We alone will guard it.

 بیشک یہ ذکرِ عظیم (قرآن) ہم نے ہی اتارا ہے اور یقیناً ہم ہی اس کی حفاظت کریں گے

The Day when this earth will be changed into a different earth - Surah Ibrahim

 جس دن یہ زمین دوسری زمین سے بدل دی جائے گی - سوره ابراہیم 

Translation
Verse 48: The Day when (this) earth will be changed into a different earth and all the heavens will also be changed and the entire mankind will appear before Allah, the One, (and) the Dominant over all;

جس دن (یہ) زمین دوسری زمین سے بدل دی جائے گی اور جملہ آسمان بھی بدل دیئے جائیں گے اور سب لوگ اللہ کے رُوبرو حاضر ہوں گے جو ایک ہے سب پر غالب ہے

Did you think that We had created you in vain without any purpose - Surah Al-Muminun

کیا تم نے یہ خیال کر لیا تھا کہ ہم نے تمہیں بے کار و بے مقصد پیدا کیا ہے - سوره المومنون 

Translation
Verse 115: So did you think that We had created you in vain (without any purpose) and that you would not return to Us?

 سو کیا تم نے یہ خیال کر لیا تھا کہ ہم نے تمہیں بے کار (و بے مقصد) پیدا کیا ہے اور یہ کہ تم ہماری طرف لوٹ کر نہیں آؤ گے
