Do not kill any soul whose (killing) Allah has declared unlawful - Surah Al-Isra

تم کسی جان کو قتل مت کرنا جسے قتل کرنا ﷲ نے حرام قرار دیا ہے - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 33: And do not kill any soul whose (killing) Allah has declared unlawful unless (killing him) is just (according to the law and decree of the court). But whoever is killed unjustly, We have indeed given his heir the right (of retribution according to the legal procedure), but he too must not exceed the limits in (retributive) killing. He is indeed helped (by Allah. The responsibility of his legal help and support will be on the government.)

 اور تم کسی جان کو قتل مت کرنا جسے (قتل کرنا) اﷲ نے حرام قرار دیا ہے سوائے اس کے کہ (اس کا قتل کرنا شریعت کی رُو سے عدالت کے حکم کے مطابق) حق ہو، اور جو شخص ظلماً قتل کردیا گیا تو بیشک ہم نے اس کے وارث کے لیے (قانونی ضابطے کے مطابق قصاص کا) حق مقرر کر دیا ہے سو وہ بھی (قصاص کے طور پر بدلہ کے) قتل میں حد سے تجاوز نہ کرے، بیشک وہ (اﷲ کی طرف سے) مدد یافتہ ہے (سو اس کی قانونی مدد و حمایت کی ذِمّے داری حکومت پر ہوگی)

Measure in full whenever you measure out, and weigh with a straight balance - Surah Al-Isra

ناپ پورا رکھا کرو جب تم ناپو اور سیدھے ترازو سے تولا کرو - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 35: And measure in full whenever you measure out (anything), and (when you weigh anything) weigh with a straight balance. This (honesty) is better, and much better with regard to its consequence (as well).

اور ناپ پورا رکھا کرو جب (بھی) تم (کوئی چیز) ناپو اور (جب تولنے لگو تو) سیدھے ترازو سے تولا کرو، یہ (دیانت داری) بہتر ہے اور انجام کے اعتبار سے (بھی) خوب تر ہے

Do not go near the orphan’s property - Surah Al-Isra

تم یتیم کے مال کے قریب تک نہ جانا - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 34: And (also) do not go near the orphan’s property, but in a way that is beneficial (to the orphan), until he reaches his maturity. And always fulfil the promise. No doubt, the promise will be questioned about.

. اور تم یتیم کے مال کے (بھی) قریب تک نہ جانا مگر ایسے طریقہ سے جو (یتیم کے لئے) بہتر ہو یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچ جائے, اور وعدہ پورا کیا کرو، بیشک وعدہ کی ضرور پوچھ گچھ ہوگی

Do not walk arrogantly on the earth, Certainly, you cannot cleave the earth - Surah Al-Isra

زمین میں اکڑ کر مت چل، بیشک تو زمین کو ہرگز چیر نہیں سکتا - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 37: And do not walk arrogantly on the earth. Certainly, you cannot cleave the earth (with the force of your arrogance), nor can you reach the mountains in height.

 اور زمین میں اکڑ کر مت چل، بیشک تو زمین کو (اپنی رعونت کے زور سے) ہرگز چیر نہیں سکتا اور نہ ہی ہرگز تو بلندی میں پہاڑوں کو پہنچ سکتا ہے 

Do not follow that of which you have no authentic knowledge - Surah Al-Israh

 تو اس بات کی پیروی نہ کر جس کا تجھے صحیح علم نہیں - سوره الاسراء 

Translation

Verse 36: And, (O man,) do not follow that of which you have no (authentic) knowledge. Indeed the ear, the eye and the heart—each of them will be questioned.

 اور (اے انسان!) تو اس بات کی پیروی نہ کر جس کا تجھے (صحیح) علم نہیں، بیشک کان اور آنکھ اور دل ان میں سے ہر ایک سے باز پرس ہوگی

Surely, the spendthrifts are the brothers of Satan - Surah Al-Isra

بیشک فضول خرچی کرنے والے شیطان کے بھائی ہیں - سوره اسرا 

Translation

Verse 26: And give to the kindred their rightful due, and also (give) to the needy and the wayfarer, and do not exhaust (your wealth) by expending wastefully.

اور قرابت داروں کو ان کا حق ادا کرو اور محتاجوں اور مسافروں کو بھی (دو) اور (اپنا مال) فضول خرچی سے مت اڑاؤ

Translation

Verse 27: Surely, the spendthrifts are the brothers of Satan, and Satan is most ungrateful to his Lord.

 بیشک فضول خرچی کرنے والے شیطان کے بھائی ہیں، اور شیطان اپنے رب کا بڑا ہی ناشکرا ہے

Do not barter the promise made to Allah for a paltry price - Surah An-Nahl

اللہ کے عہد حقیر سی قیمت کے عوض مت بیچ ڈالا کرو - سوره النحل 

Translation

Verse 95: And do not barter the promise made to Allah for a paltry price (i.e., worldly wealth and gains). Surely, (the reward) that is with Allah is best for you if you know (this secret).

 اور اللہ کے عہد حقیر سی قیمت (یعنی دنیوی مال و دولت) کے عوض مت بیچ ڈالا کرو، بیشک جو (اجر) اللہ کے پاس ہے وہ تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے اگر تم (اس راز کو) جانتے ہو

O believers! Do not take your fathers and brothers for friends if they love disbelief more than belief - Surah At-Tawbah

 اے ایمان والو! تم اپنے باپ اور بھائیوں کو بھی دوست نہ بناؤ اگر وہ ایمان پر کفر کو محبوب رکھتے ہوں - سوره التوبه 

Translation

Verse # 23: O believers! Do not take your fathers (and forefathers) and brothers for friends if they love disbelief more than belief. And whoever of you befriends them, it is they who are the wrongdoers.

 اے ایمان والو! تم اپنے باپ (دادا) اور بھائیوں کو بھی دوست نہ بناؤ اگر وہ ایمان پر کفر کو محبوب رکھتے ہوں، اور تم میں سے جو شخص بھی انہیں دوست رکھے گا سو وہی لوگ ظالم ہیں

Those who have broken up their religion & have divided into sects, (O Prophet) you aren't responsible for them - Surah Al-Anam

جن لوگوں نے اپنے دین کو پارہ پارہ کر دیا اور وہ فرقوں میں بٹ گئے، آپ کسی چیز میں ان کے  ذمہ دار نہیں ہیں - سوره الانعام 

Translation

Verse # 159: Surely, those who have broken up their religion (by introducing segregated paths) and have divided into (different) sects,(O Prophet) you are not (concerned with or responsible for) them in any matter. Their case is only with Allah. Then He would let them know what they used to do.

 بیشک جن لوگوں نے (جدا جدا راہیں نکال کر) اپنے دین کو پارہ پارہ کر دیا اور وہ (مختلف) فرقوں میں بٹ گئے،(اے نبی) آپ کسی چیز میں ان کے (تعلق دار اور ذمہ دار) نہیں ہیں، بس ان کا معاملہ اﷲ ہی کے حوالے ہے پھر وہ انہیں ان کاموں سے آگاہ فرما دے گا جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے

Don't go near the property of the orphan, give full measure and weight with justice, And always fulfil the promise of Allah - Surah Al-Anam

 یتیم کے مال کے قریب مت جانا، پیمانے اور ترازو  کو انصاف کے ساتھ پورے کرنا اور اﷲ کے عہد کو پورا کیا کرو - سوره الانعام 

Translation

Verse # 152: And do not go near the property of the orphan but in the most likable manner until he reaches the age of maturity.’ And always give full measure and weight with justice. We do not burden any soul beyond its ability to bear it. And when you say (something pertaining to somebody), do justice even though he is (your) near relative. And always fulfil the promise of Allah. These are (the matters) which He has strictly ordained for you in order that you may accept direction and guidance.

اور یتیم کے مال کے قریب مت جانا مگر ایسے طریق سے جو بہت ہی پسندیدہ ہو یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچ جائے، اور پیمانے اور ترازو (یعنی ناپ اور تول) کو انصاف کے ساتھ پورا کیا کرو۔ ہم کسی شخص کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے، اور جب تم (کسی کی نسبت کچھ) کہو تو عدل کرو اگرچہ وہ (تمہارا) قرابت دار ہی ہو، اور اﷲ کے عہد کو پورا کیا کرو، یہی (باتیں) ہیں جن کا اس نے تمہیں تاکیدی حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت قبول کرو

Be morally excellent with parents, and don't kill your children owing to poverty - Surah Al-Anam

 ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرو، اور مفلسی کے باعث اپنی اولاد کو قتل مت کرو - سوره الانعام 

Translation

Verse # 151: Say: ‘Come, I will recite to you those things which your Lord has forbidden to you: Do not set up anything as a partner with Him; be morally excellent with parents; and do not kill your children owing to poverty. We alone give you sustenance and (will provide for) them as well. And do not draw near to shameful deeds (whether) open or hidden. And do not kill the soul whose (killing) Allah has forbidden, except when it is rightfully due (according to law in self-defence against disruption and whilst combating terrorism). It is these (injunctions) He has enjoined upon you so that you may apply reason.

 فرما دیجئے: آؤ میں وہ چیزیں پڑھ کر سنا دوں جو تمہارے رب نے تم پر حرام کی ہیں (وہ) یہ کہ تم اس کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہ ٹھہراؤ اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرو، اور مفلسی کے باعث اپنی اولاد کو قتل مت کرو۔ ہم ہی تمہیں رزق دیتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی (دیں گے)، اور بے حیائی کے کاموں کے قریب نہ جاؤ (خواہ) وہ ظاہر ہوں اور (خواہ) وہ پوشیدہ ہوں، اور اس جان کو قتل نہ کرو جسے (قتل کرنا) اﷲ نے حرام کیا ہے بجز حق (شرعی) کے (یعنی قانون کے مطابق ذاتی دفاع کی خاطر اور فتنہ و فساد اور دہشت گردی کے خلاف لڑتے ہوئے)، یہی وہ (امور) ہیں جن کا اس نے تمہیں تاکیدی حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم عقل سے کام لو

And give up all the sins of body and of heart i.e., both open and secret - Surah Al-Anam

اور تم ظاہری اور باطنی گناہ چھوڑ دو - سوره الانعام 

Translation
Verse # 120: And give up all the sins of body and of heart (i.e., both open and secret). Indeed, those who are earning sins will soon be punished for (the evil works) that they used to perpetrate.

 اور تم ظاہری اور باطنی (یعنی آشکار و پنہاں دونوں قسم کے) گناہ چھوڑ دو۔ بیشک جو لوگ گناہ کما رہے ہیں انہیں عنقریب سزا دی جائے گی ان (اَعمالِ بد) کے باعث جن کا وہ ارتکاب کرتے تھے

And, don't abuse those false gods whom they worship besides Allah, otherwise they will abuse Allah's Glory - Surah Al-Anam

 اور تم ان جھوٹے معبودوں کو گالی مت دو جنہیں یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا پوجتے ہیں ورنہ وہ جہالت میں الله کی شان میں گستاخی کریں گے - سوره الانعام 

Translation

Verse # 108: And, (O Muslims,) do not abuse these (false gods) that these (polytheists) worship besides Allah, lest these people should (also, in retaliation,) revile against Allah’s Glory wrongfully due to ignorance. Thus have We made the conduct of every sect (and faction) seem attractive to (their own eyes and they regard only that as truth). Then all have to return to their Lord, and He will inform them of (the results of) their deeds which they used to do.

 اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم ان (جھوٹے معبودوں) کو گالی مت دو جنہیں یہ (مشرک لوگ اللہ کے سوا پوجتے ہیں پھر وہ لوگ (بھی جواباً) جہالت کے باعث ظلم کرتے ہوئے اللہ کی شان میں دشنام طرازی کرنے لگیں گے۔ اسی طرح ہم نے ہر فرقہ (و جماعت) کے لئے ان کا عمل (ان کی آنکھوں میں) مرغوب کر رکھا ہے (اور وہ اسی کو حق سمجھتے رہتے ہیں)، پھر سب کو اپنے رب ہی کی طرف لوٹنا ہے اور وہ انہیں ان اعمال کے نتائج سے آگاہ فرما دے گا جو وہ انجام دیتے تھے

O believers! Wine and gambling and idols mounted and divining arrows for seeking luck are filthy works of Devil - Surah Al-Maidah

اے ایمان والو! بیشک شراب اور جُوا اور (نصب کئے گئے بُت اور فال کے تیر  ناپاک شیطانی کام ہیں - سوره الماہدہ 

Translation

Verse # 90: O believers! Wine and gambling and idols mounted (for worship) and divining arrows (for seeking luck—all) are filthy works of Satan. So turn away from them (completely) so that you may prosper.

 اے ایمان والو! بیشک شراب اور جُوا اور نصب کئے گئے بُت اور (قسمت معلوم کرنے کے لئے) فال کے تیر (سب) ناپاک شیطانی کام ہیں۔ سو تم ان سے (کلیتاً) پرہیز کرو تاکہ تم فلاح پا جاؤ

But he who kills a Muslim deliberately, his sentence will be Hell wherein will he abide for ages - Surah An-Nisa

 اور جو شخص کسی مسلمان کو قصداً قتل کرے تو اس کی سزا دوزخ ہے کہ مدتوں اس میں رہے گا - سوره النساء 

Translation

Verse # 93: But he who kills a Muslim deliberately, his sentence will be Hell wherein will he abide for ages. Allah will afflict him with His wrath and will cast His curse on him. And He has prepared for him a dreadful torment.

 اور جو شخص کسی مسلمان کو قصداً قتل کرے تو اس کی سزا دوزخ ہے کہ مدتوں اس میں رہے گا اور اس پر اللہ غضبناک ہوگا اور اس پر لعنت کرے گا اور اس نے اس کے لئے زبردست عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

O believers! Do not live on usury doubled and redoubled - Surah Al-Imran

اے ایمان والو! دو گنا اور چوگنا کر کے سود مت کھایا کرو - سوره ال عمران 

Translation

Verse #130: O believers! Do not live on usury doubled and redoubled, and keep fearing Allah so that you may prosper.

اے ایمان والو! دو گنا اور چوگنا کر کے سود مت کھایا کرو، اور اللہ سے ڈرا کرو تاکہ تم فلاح پاؤ

And hold fast to the rope of Allah, all of you together - Surah Al-Imran

اور تم سب مل کر اللہ کی رسی کو مضبوطی سے تھام لو - سوره ال عمران 

Translation

Verse # 102: And hold fast to the rope of Allah, all of you together, and do not generate dissension and factions.

اور تم سب مل کر اللہ کی رسی کو مضبوطی سے تھام لو اور تفرقہ مت ڈالو

Prohibition of Usury & declaration of war from ALLAH & his Prophet SAWAWS against those who deal in Usury - Surah Al-Baqarah

سود کی ممانعت اور الله اور رسول کا سود لینے والوں کے خلاف علان جنگ - سوره البقرہ 

Translation

Verse # 275: Those who live on usury will not be able to stand (on the Day of Judgment), but like the one whom Satan has made insane with his touch (i.e., damnation). This is because they used to say that trade (i.e., buying and selling) is similar to usury, whereas Allah has declared trade (i.e., buying and selling) lawful and usury unlawful. So, if someone refrains (from usury) on receiving admonition from his Lord, then he can keep whatever he took in the past and his case is with Allah. But those who continued with usury (despite the admonition) would be the inmates of Hell. They will abide there permanently.

جو لوگ سُود کھاتے ہیں وہ (روزِ قیامت) کھڑے نہیں ہو سکیں گے مگر جیسے وہ شخص کھڑا ہوتا ہے جسے شیطان (آسیب) نے چھو کر بدحواس کر دیا ہو، یہ اس لئے کہ وہ کہتے تھے کہ تجارت (خرید و فروخت) بھی تو سود کی مانند ہے، حالانکہ اﷲ نے تجارت (سوداگری) کو حلال فرمایا ہے اور سود کو حرام کیا ہے، پس جس کے پاس اس کے رب کی جانب سے نصیحت پہنچی سو وہ (سود سے) باز آگیا تو جو پہلے گزر چکا وہ اسی کا ہے، اور اس کا معاملہ اﷲ کے سپرد ہے، اور جس نے پھر بھی لیا سو ایسے لوگ جہنمی ہیں، وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے

Translation

Verse # 276: Allah eliminates usury  and multiplies alms gifts. And Allah does not like anyone who is ungrateful and disobedient.

 اور اﷲ سود کو مٹاتا ہے  اور صدقات کو بڑھاتا ہے، اور اﷲ کسی بھی ناسپاس نافرمان کو پسند نہیں کرتا

Translation

Verse # 278: O believers! Fear Allah and write off whatever balance remains of usury if you are believers (true to the core of your hearts).

 اے ایمان والو! اﷲ سے ڈرو اور جو کچھ بھی سود میں سے باقی رہ گیا ہے چھوڑ دو اگر تم (صدقِ دل سے) ایمان رکھتے ہو

Translation

Verse # 279: But if you do not do so, then be warned of the declaration of war from Allah and His Holy Messenger (SAWAWS). And if you repent, then your principal amounts are (lawfully) yours. (In this case) you will neither do any wrong, nor be wronged.

 پھر اگر تم نے ایسا نہ کیا تو اﷲ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طرف سے اعلان جنگ پر خبردار ہو جاؤ، اور اگر تم توبہ کر لو تو تمہارے لیے تمہارے اصل مال (جائز) ہیں، (اِس صورت میں) نہ تم خود ظلم کرو گے اور نہ تم پر ظلم کیا جائے گا

Don't intend to give in charity what is unclean, You will never take that if same is offered to you - Surah Al-Baqarah

ایسی چیز صدقہ خیرات نہ کرو جو نا پاک ہو یا ایسے ہو کے اگر تمھیں دی جائے تو تم اپنے لئے اسے نہ لو - سوره البقرہ 

Translation

Verse # 267: O believers! Spend (in the way of Allah) of your lawful and clean earnings and of that which We bring forth for you from the earth. And do not intend to spend (in the cause of Allah) from that which is unclean, for (if the same is given to you,) you yourselves would never accept it without closing your eyes to it. And you must know that Allah is certainly All-Sufficient, Worthy of All Praise.

 اے ایمان والو! ان پاکیزہ کمائیوں میں سے اور اس میں سے جو ہم نے تمہارے لئے زمین سے نکالا ہے (اﷲ کی راہ میں) خرچ کیا کرو اور اس میں سے گندے مال کو (اﷲ کی راہ میں) خرچ کرنے کا ارادہ مت کرو کہ (اگر وہی تمہیں دیا جائے تو) تم خود اسے ہرگز نہ لو سوائے اس کے کہ تم اس میں چشم پوشی کر لو، اور جان لو کہ بیشک اﷲ بے نیاز لائقِ ہر حمد ہے

O believers! Do not ruin your charity donations (later) by taunts of doing favour and hurting feelings - Surah Al-Baqarah

 اے ایمان والو! اپنے صدقات (بعد ازاں) احسان جتا کر اور دُکھ دے کر برباد نہ کر لیا کرو - سوره البقرہ 

Translation

Verse # 264: O believers! Do not ruin your charity donations (later) by taunts of doing favour and hurting feelings like the one who gives charity to show off his wealth to the people and believes in neither Allah nor the Last Day. His case is like a smooth rock covered with a thin coat of soil. Then heavy rain falls on it, washes it clean and leaves it (the same) bare and hard (rock). So these (pretentious people) shall get nothing out of their earning. And Allah does not guide the disbelievers.

 اے ایمان والو! اپنے صدقات (بعد ازاں) احسان جتا کر اور دُکھ دے کر اس شخص کی طرح برباد نہ کر لیا کرو جو مال لوگوں کے دکھانے کے لئے خرچ کرتا ہے اور نہ اﷲ پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اور نہ روزِ قیامت پر، اس کی مثال ایک ایسے چکنے پتھر کی سی ہے جس پر تھوڑی سی مٹی پڑی ہو پھر اس پر زوردار بارش ہو تو وہ اسے (پھر وہی) سخت اور صاف (پتھر) کر کے ہی چھوڑ دے، سو اپنی کمائی میں سے ان (ریاکاروں) کے ہاتھ کچھ بھی نہیں آئے گا، اور اﷲ کافر قوم کو ہدایت نہیں فرماتا
