Know that the life of the world is nothing but a sport, self-praise, ambition to excel in wealth and children over one another - Surah Al-Hadid

 جان لو کہ دنیا کی زندگی محض کھیل اور تماشا ہے اور ظاہری آرائش ہےاور  ایک دوسرے پر مال و اولاد میں زیادتی کی طلب ہے - سوره الحدید 

Translation

Verse # 20: Know that the life of the world is nothing but a sport and pastime, and superficial beauty, and mutual boasting and self-praise, and ambition to excel in wealth and children over one another. Its similitude is rain whose produce pleases the farmers. Then it dries up. Then you see it turning yellow and then it becomes bits of stubble. And there is severe torment (for the disobedient) in the Hereafter, and forgiveness and great pleasure from Allah (for the obedient). And the life of the world is nothing but belongings that deceive.

 جان لو کہ دنیا کی زندگی محض کھیل اور تماشا ہے اور ظاہری آرائش ہے اور آپس میں فخر اور خود ستائی ہے اور ایک دوسرے پر مال و اولاد میں زیادتی کی طلب ہے، اس کی مثال بارش کی سی ہے کہ جس کی پیداوار کسانوں کو بھلی لگتی ہے پھر وہ خشک ہو جاتی ہے پھر تم اسے پک کر زرد ہوتا دیکھتے ہو پھر وہ ریزہ ریزہ ہو جاتی ہے، اور آخرت میں (نافرمانوں کے لئے) سخت عذاب ہے اور (فرمانبرداروں کے لئے) اللہ کی جانب سے مغفرت اور عظیم خوشنودی ہے، اور دنیا کی زندگی دھوکے کی پونجی کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے
