حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام اور حضرت اسمعیل علیہ السلام کی دعا - سوره البقرہ
Translation
Verse 128: O our Lord! Make both of us submissive to Your command; and
raise out of our future generations an Umma (Community) exclusively obedient to
You; and teach us our ways of worship (and Pilgrimage) and turn to us (with
mercy and forgiveness). Verily, it is You Who are Most Relenting,
Ever-Merciful.
اے ہمارے رب! ہم دونوں کو اپنے
حکم کے سامنے جھکنے والا بنا اور ہماری اولاد سے بھی ایک امت کو خاص اپنا
تابع فرمان بنا اور ہمیں ہماری عبادت (اور حج) کے قواعد بتا دے اور ہم پر
(رحمت و مغفرت کی) نظر فرما، بیشک تو ہی بہت توبہ قبول فرمانے والا مہربان
ہے
Translation
Verse # 129: O our Lord! Raise up from amongst them the (Last and the
Exalted) Messenger (Muhammad [blessings and peace be upon him]), who shall
recite to them Your Revelations, and teach them the Book and wisdom (logic and
good judgment, making them gnostics of the divine secret), and purify and
sanctify (their hearts and ill-commanding selves). Certainly, You alone are
All-Mighty, All-Wise.’
اے ہمارے رب! ان میں انہی میں سے
(وہ آخری اور برگزیدہ) رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مبعوث فرما جو ان پر
تیری آیتیں تلاوت فرمائے اور انہیں کتاب اور حکمت کی تعلیم دے (کر دانائے
راز بنا دے) اور ان (کے نفوس و قلوب) کو خوب پاک صاف کر دے، بیشک تو ہی
غالب حکمت والا ہے
