Verses about Leonid or falling stars or Shooting Star in Holy Quran - Surah Saffat

قرآن  میں شہاب ثاقب یا ٹوٹتے تاروں کی آیات - سوره صفات 

Translation

Verse # 6: Surely, We have adorned the world’s heaven (the first heavenly sphere) with the adornment of stars and planets,

 بے شک ہم نے آسمانِ دنیا (یعنی پہلے کرّۂ سماوی) کو ستاروں اور سیاروں کی زینت سے آراستہ کر دیا

Translation

Verse # 7: And made (them) secure from every rebellious satan.

اور (انہیں) ہر سرکش شیطان سے محفوظ بنایا

Translation

Verse # 8:They (satans) cannot listen to the celestial world. And (burning brands) are thrown on them from every side,

 وہ (شیاطین) عالمِ بالا کی طرف کان نہیں لگا سکتے اور اُن پر ہر طرف سے (انگارے) پھینکے جاتے ہیں

Translation
Verse # 9: To repulse them. And for them there is eternal torment.

 اُن کو بھگانے کے لئے اور اُن کے لئے دائمی عذاب ہے

Translation

Verse # 10: But that (satan) who snatches away (something from angels), a burning brand (Leonid or falling stars or Shooting Star) follows it in chase.

 مگر جو (شیطان) ایک بار جھپٹ کر (فرشتوں کی کوئی بات) اُچک لے تو چمکتا ہوا انگارہ (شہاب ثاقب) اُس کے پیچھے لگ جاتا ہے
